I was asked by the NBA to create artwork for two #NBASunday games for use on their Facebook and Twitter accounts across Europe and Africa.
The games I covered were, Oklahoma City Thunder at Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers at Oklahoma City Thunder. Most of the artwork created was based on previous designs and templates, but the storyline artwork (MVP Candidates Collide and This Sunday…It’s a Backcourt Battle) were designed completely by myself.
The artwork was shared on Facebook and Twitter, by NBA UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Turkey and Africa, to 4.6million fans on Facebook and 280,000 followers on Twitter.
After working directly for the NBA for two weeks I continued to produce the social media and website promotional artwork for the #NBASundays games through Visually Speaking & 7League.
