Before the 2017/18 season began, I was approached by Harlequins and asked if I would pitch for their match day creative for the new season alongside some of the countries top sports marketing agencies, which was a new experience, but one I relished.
After a lot of hard work, we created artwork and a theme that we could put out for the whole season, creating energetic illustrations of iconic Quins players, with several variations of the creative developed and shared through match day programmes, posters, regional print media, digital channels and social media. The creative also animated featured on the big screen at match-days and on Facebook cover videos. We also created LED perimeter board artwork based on the match day creative, for each game.
Further to the Match day creative, I also created the artwork for the ‘Quins Cups’ which are reusable cups that can be bought at The Stoop with the match day artwork on and illustrations of the players, signage, profile image artwork for all social media channels, designed the artwork for the tickets, social media fixture announcement and junior members squad poster, along with various print adverts.
